Cleaning window tracks,
Windows…eyes to the home…

Windows are the eyes to the home and as such property owners spend significant time ensuring that the glass panes are shiny, clean and clear. However, just as much attention needs to be paid to other components that make up a window, like window tracks.

Window tracks at first glance can be considered tricky and difficult to clean but there are sure fire ways of cleaning them and ensuring the removal of the build up of dust and grime.

The 10 Minute Method To Cleaning Window Tracks

All you need is baking soda, white vinegar, dish soap, a toothbrush and a spray bottle.

With a spoon, sprinkle baking soda over the track, including the nooks and crannies.

Then in the spray bottle add water, white vinegar and a teaspoon of detergent. Spray it all over the window tracks and the baking soda.

Leave for a couple of minutes.

Next, grab an old toothbrush and start scrubbing.

Remove the gunk with a paper towel.

Finish by wiping the surface with an old cloth.

Voila, your window tracks are now clean!!!

While you’re at it you can pop out your window screens, place them in your bathtub and fill tub with hot water and liquid detergent. Then wash off the detergent and let them air dry.

All in all, this shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes max.
